Delhi Weather Today: Delhi-NCR has recorded a drop in temperature due to light rain along with a thunderstorm on Wednesday.


Rain has brought relief to Delhi-NCR areas that have been experiencing heatwave and heat for the past several days.

The meteorological department had also expressed the possibility of a drop in temperature in several states, including Delhi.


Also, on Wednesday evening, it was reported that light rain is likely in Delhi-NCR sometime. During this time, winds will also blow at a speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour.


At the same time, the possibility of rain has also been expressed in western UP. Areas like Hapur, Bareilly, Badaun, Meerut, Baghpat, tanda, Milak etc.can also get rain.


But the temperature will increase in the coming days



The Meteorological Department has predicted that even though the temperature is currently declining, many places including the national capital Delhi will once again rise in the coming days.





According to IMD, Delhi will record a rise in temperature from Friday and the maximum temperature will reach 40 degrees Celsius.


After this, the temperature will increase further and by May 10, the temperature can go up to 43 degrees Celsius.

In many other states, too, rain has come.


States that have been hit by heatwave for several days are getting relief due to rain.


On the last day, rain fell in several districts, including Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, due to which the temperature dropped.


Today, Odisha, Bhubaneswar in the morning-morning rain due to the people from the heat quite relieved. In addition, several districts of Uttarakhand also got colder due to rain.


The meteorological department had expressed the possibility of rain today in at least ten states including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar.
